In an effort to continually improve the SmartDeploy user experience, we asked industry leader and tech podcaster, Paul Thurrott, to put our software to the test. While Paul’s reputation for giving his honest opinion made him the perfect fit to help us understand areas where we could improve and expand the product, we couldn’t help questioning “what if” things don’t go as expected. He has a large and loyal following in the IT community and the last thing we want is for him to have to share a negative experience. After all, we knew Paul wouldn’t sugar coat his feedback should things not go well.
The good news is, things went well. Extremely well.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Paul is familiar with imaging solutions and the common frustrations that often come from reimaging PCs so we knew his candid feedback would give us valuable insight on what an outsider sees as they embark on the SmartDeploy journey.
He noticed that our wizard driven interface is much simpler than writing long, outdated scripts, but this was only a small portion of his findings that are detailed in the step-by-step unbiased review.
Throughout the review, Paul realizes our vision of making life easier for IT pros and understands where we fit in the busy world of IT projects. He states
